Working around the general themes of sewing and fabric, my work is varied from creating embellished hand-made felt to transforming the toy dog at toddler group into a dalmation. Inspiration is drawn from science, local landscapes and incorporates a love for vibrant colours and interesting textures.

I think of Van Gogh primarily as a colourist, although his vivid colourful paintings were mostly painted in the last couple of years of his art career. His detailed descriptions of nature and his paintings can be found in his letters to Theo, his brother.

Friday, December 6, 2013. Tips and Tricks - Envelope Liners using the Envelope Punch Board. I love the envelope punch board and have spent a lot of time with it making boxes, bows, crackers, tags, shaped cards and yes even envelopes. First using the instructions included on the envelope punch board I made an envelope to fit a 10. 8cm card, stopping before I stuck it all together. Complete your envelope and it looks like this.
